Transporting a Complete Production Plant to Charlotte, USA

Transporting the large machinery required a detailed planning process to find suitable aircraft for the oversized transport crates (up to 580 x 280 x 280 cm). The cargo was divided between a chartered Ilyushin Il-76 from Volga-Dnepr Airlines and a Boeing 747F scheduled flight. Comprehensive technical documentation of the accompanying documents and communication with the loadmaster followed. The loading process and securing of the goods were carried out strictly according to road traffic and civil aviation regulations.

FREIGHT2FLY then supervised the transport of the fully loaded charter flight and the scheduled flight from Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (HHN) to Charlotte Airport (CLT). Special attention was given to ground handling and proper customs clearance. The delivery to the final destination in Charlotte was carried out using low-loaders. Seamless tracking of the shipment was crucial, ensuring all partners involved received timely updates. This enabled the successful completion of the shipment, with the customer being highly satisfied with the service.
